The newly appointed judge of the Cayman Islands Court of Appeal, the Hon. Geoffrey Vos, QC, took oaths of office and allegiance in the presence of His Excellency the Governor
Two new members of the Cayman Islands Court of Appeal took their oaths of office last week.
Work has commenced on the design of a new courts complex that will house all six divisions of the Summary Court, together with the newly established Family Court.
The eighth annual meeting of the Chief Justices and other heads of judiciary of the Commonwealth Caribbean will take place in the Islands in July 2007. This will be the first time that the Cayman Islands have hosted the conference.
